Je kunt er bijna niet onderuit. Vandaag is de open bèta van Battlefield 3, en dat gaat uiteraard gepaard met veel enthousiaste, maar ook teleurgestelde fans.
Hieronder enkele reacties van teleurgestelde fans:
Some of the biggest problems I had with Battlefield 3 weren't even the glitches, it was people laying prone on these huge maps that were obviously designed with PC in mind, then you get killed and have no clue where the shot came from because there is no kill cam whatsoever. I think that there is a huge distinction between the 24 players per map that the consoles will see and the 64 players the PC will see. The maps are just too big for consoles and the smaller amount of people that are playing.
Textures, glitches and horrid hit detection are just some of the things that pop out at you right away when you play the bèta, now I know what your going to say, "It's a bèta". You would be correct in saying it's a bèta, but with only a mere three weeks before release I don't see how they are going to go back in and fix textures and things like that.
Wat wel opgemerkt werd, is dat de game op de pc wél haar beloftes nakomt, wat de mensen met een NASA-pc weer een reden geeft om zich eens flink de hemel in te prijzen.
Activision, die zich verbazingwekkend stil hield, kan hier natuurlijk alleen maar blij van worden. Wordt Modern Warfare 3 dan uiteindelijk toch de winnaar in deze verhitte oorlog? Of zal de uiteindelijke versie van Battlefield 3 hier dik over heen gaan? Laat het ons hieronder weten!
