Uitgever SEGA en ontwikkelaar The Creative Assembly hebben de releasedatum van Total War: Warhammer opgeschoven. De nieuwste titel in de Total War-franchise verschijnt 24 mei 2016 in plaats van 28 april 2016. Volgens creative director Mike Simpson is de reden als volgt:

This could be the best TW game we've made and we want reviewers to have enough time to play it thoroughly before launch, so that you get a fair review from a reviewer you trust. Hopefully, you can understand that - and of course we apologise for any hassle this might cause you.
