Ubisoft heeft in de officiële Ubisoft Blog aangegeven dat Splinter Cell: Conviction alleen maar op de Xbox 360 en PC gaat verschijnen. Een PlayStation 3 hoeven we dus niet te verwachten. Als reden wordt de speciale band met het Microsoft platform gegeven en het feit dat voor de ontwikkeling de Xbox 360 het lead-platform is.
