De PSP staat bekend als een redelijk sterke handheld. Iets minder sterk als de PlayStation 2. Toch blijven de graphics maar verbeterd worden op de PSP. Zo zegt Scott Rohde van Sony dat God of War: Ghost of Sparta de mooiste PSP-game ooit gemaakt wordt.
