Gareth Garratt is een jongen met cebreral palsy. Dit is een afwijking waarbij je motorische vaardigheden - zoals een muis vasthouden - minder goed werken dan bij andere mensen. Gareth Garatt is een fanatiek gamer en zijn nieuwste aanwinst is Dead Space 2.

De jongen kon Dead Space 2 echter niet spelen, omdat de game geen custom keymapping toestaat. Hij kon niet de knop waarmee Isaac naar voren loopt verplaatsen naar zijn muis. Inmiddels hebben 25.000 mensen een petitie getekend voor custom keymapping in Dead Space 2. Visceral Games heeft beloofd dit toe te voegen.

The Dead Space 2 team is aware of the issue that disabled players are having with Dead Space 2 PC. In fact a number of folks on our team are so passionate about getting this fix done that they are currently working hard to allow players to re-map key bindings to the mouse which should help disabled players enjoy the game.

Aldus Visceral Games. Garratt kan waarschijnlijk niet wachten tot deze update uitkomt.
