In een interview dat Reggie Fils-Aime, baas van Nintendo Amerika, heeft gehouden met Spike op CES, laat hij weten dat we het hele jaar door nieuws krijgen over de Wii U.

I won't say you're going to have to wait until E3, but certainly we're not breaking any news here; no launch date, no launch price, no game line-up. We will be sharing a whole lot of information all through the year on how we will be driving Wii U into households this year.

Dit houdt dus in dat we niet op de persconferentie van Nintendo op de E3 in Los Angeles hoeven te wachten, maar dat we het hele jaar door informatie krijgen over de nieuwe console van Nintendo.
