HoD: Overkill scheldt zich naar een record
Railshooter The House of the Dead: Overkill is opgenomen in het Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition als game waarin het meest wordt gevloekt.
Het woord "fuck" wordt in totaal 189 keer genoemd. Dit is niet echt bijzonder te noemen, maar doordat de 189 "fucks" in totaal drie procent van alle woorden in beslag neemt wordt het record toegekend aan The House of the Dead: Overkill.

It is a dubious honour to receive such an accolade working in an industry where so often the fruits of your labours are derided and dismissed for being puerile or irresponsible, but in the case of The House of the Dead: OVERKILL a little puerility was the order of business. Parodying the profane excess of grindhouse cinema was Headstrong Games' objective and I am flattered that this record acknowledges that we not only rose to that challenge, but entirely exceeded it.

Vandaag de dag waagt Alex zich echter voornamelijk aan “hier krijg ik echt een God-complex van”-games. Onze regelneef - ook wel Captain Plannert genoemd - heeft altijd wel zijn mening klaarliggen, zeker als het gaat om zijn grote passie; gaming.
