Sony heeft bekendgemaakt dat ze vanaf nu Sucker Punch onder haar hoede heeft, want ze hebben het bedrijf opgekocht. De ontwikkelaar maakte vooral exclusives voor de PlayStation en gaat nu dus verder voor Sony. Sucker Punch is vooral bekend geworden door de action-adventure franchise inFamous. Echte PlayStation fans kennen de ontwikkelaar waarschijnlijk ook van de Sly Cooper games
De baas van Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, zei het volgende over het samengaan tussen de twee bedrijven:
